CHAPTER 6
It
was morning in Abuja, Lawal watched the sunrise with its orange hue, giving the
sky a unique and striking appearance. The temperature was quite cool, and the
weather was dry and cool, with a hazy sky in sight. The air was getting very
dry, with low humidity and a noticeable lack of moisture. The dust from the
harmattan winds was already presenting itself once more, and it is not uncommon
for the sky to be obscured by a fine layer of dust.
Lawal
walked towards the window and looked out at the view, then back at Ese who was
still sleeping on his bed. The morning sun revealed just how beautiful and
perfect she was.
Ese
was chocolate-skinned and had a look that reminded Lawal of African-American
women. He was surprised to discover that she was still a virgin and that he was
the man who had taken that from her. Despite this, he knew that Ese needed his
help and was willing to do whatever it took to provide it. He was drawn to her
innocence and decided to take the deal further, making it a long-term arrangement.
He would provide all of Ese's needs on the condition that she was exclusive
with him until the relationship was dissolved.
Lawal
couldn't help feeling a sense of guilt as he made this decision. He knew that
he was essentially buying Ese's loyalty and affection and that it wasn't right.
But he also couldn't deny this strange feeling he felt and couldn’t explain
what it was just yet. He knew that he wanted to do everything in his power to
make her happy. He hoped that Ese would come to see him as more than just a
provider and that she would grow to care for him as he cared for her. He knew
that it was a risky proposition, but he was willing to take the chance. He just
hoped that things would work out between them and that they could find
happiness together.
As
Ese woke up, she couldn't help feeling a sense of guilt and shame for what she
had done. She had always hoped to keep herself till her wedding night, but then
again, she knew that she could have died of poverty if she didn't take this
bold step. She sat up in bed and noticed that she was alone in the bedroom.
Quickly, she got up and cleaned herself up, noticing a beautiful, expensive
yellow gown on the bed. It was obvious that Lawal wanted her to wear it. Ese's
legs were shaky as she stood up, still feeling the effects of the previous
night. She made her way to the bathroom and took a long, hot shower, trying to
wash away the feelings of guilt and shame.
Once
she was finished, she dried herself off and put on the dress. It fit her
perfectly, accentuating her curves in all the right places. Ese couldn't help
feeling a sense of pride as she looked at herself in the mirror. She knew that
she looked beautiful and that Lawal would be pleased. She made her way out of
the bathroom, her nerves mounting as she prepared to face Lawal and the
uncertain future that lay ahead.
As
Ese walked out of the bathroom, she came face to face with Lawal and she froze
in place. He was the definition of male beauty, with chiseled features and a
physique that exuded strength and confidence.
Lawal
couldn't help but notice the perfect angel in front of him, with her rich,
African hair and perfect body structure. She was beautiful even without makeup,
and he couldn't help feeling a sense of attraction toward her. To avoid the awkwardness
between them, he invited her to join him for breakfast downstairs and then
walked away without looking back. Ese took a few breaths to calm herself, then
left the room and made her way to the dining hall for breakfast.
